Improving well-being and productivity at work with VibeCatch
VibeCatch is Rakettitiede’s own product featuring a QWL survey and analysis tool that measures well-being at work. The tool is based on a scientifically proven Quality of Work Life method.
Problems at work often arise from the employees’ inability to express their concerns, because they don't want to be seen as a difficult person or because there are no low threshold feedback channels. This may result in a spiral of frustration, which leads to increased stress, and the formation of separate cliques within the organisation. The productivity and efficiency of work fall rapidly, which then gets reflected in the company's performance. The atmosphere should be investigated and any grievances addressed at an early stage.
The quality of working life is the most important factor for the productivity of human capital. In a well-managed company, the work is attractive and carried out efficiently. Productivity and well-being at work go hand in hand – if either aspect is lacking, the other one suffers too.
VibeCatch provides a QWL survey and analysis tool that measures productivity and well-being at work. The tool has been created in cooperation with Mcompetence Oy, an expert in employee productivity development, and it’s based on a scientifically proven QWL (Quality of Work Life) method.
A QWL analysis shows which things you should improve to increase well-being and productivity in your organisation and also lets you know how this should be done. The analysis directly reflects the monetary impact the HR measures can achieve.
Continuous visibility with a light survey
In addition to the QWL query and analysis, VibeCatch can be used to easily create a query using your own questions. It can be integrated into the company's other communication solutions (Yammer, Slack etc.).
The survey can be responded to in a matter of seconds using any terminal device. Light surveys have become a popular way of conducting quick pulse surveys, for example to gauge the mood at the beginning of a working week.
From analysis to results
VibeCatch uses the responses and some of the company’s key figures to calculate the monetary impact of the personnel’s well-being changes on the company’s result.
For instance, a retail chain operating in Finland significantly improved its result through QWL analysis. The stores that took part in staff development ended up being responsible for approximately half of the profit increase of the group. In these stores, employee productivity improved by 2.6%, store revenue increased by 8% and margin improved by 24.8%. Return on development was approximately 4,700 euros per employee.
The monthly cost of the most expensive VibeCatch licence is only $2 per employee. In large companies, this can translate into savings worth millions of dollars.
