Penno.fi – a free tool for managing finances
Monitoring your finances is easy with the help of the Penno.fi application developed by Rakettitiede for the Finnish Guarantee Foundation. The application was the first project for one of our new rocket scientist, who got to carry out the entire project from start to finish.
It pays to plan and keep an eye on your finances. This way, money doesn’t go to waste and the management of everyday life, fulfilling one’s dreams or saving for the rainy day become easier.
Guarantee Foundation’s Penno.fi app is a free web-based piece of software that lets you enter your income and expenses to track your sources of money and expenditure. The Penno application allows you to see your overall economic situation at a glance, reminds you of your savings target and also lets you know when you’ve achieved it.
The software includes illustrative graphics that can be used for viewing your distribution of expenditure, current financial situation and forecasts, as well as monthly income, expenses and savings.
To quote the new rocket scientist, the first project was both challenging and interesting: “The client kept close contact and followed and steered the development quite intensely but also let me to work in peace and allowed me to provide some ideas for the finished product.”
A simple piece of software can take you really far. The service works on computers, tablets and phones that have an internet connection.
