AI & testing – what happens to quality? 4/2026

In April's Rocket webinar we talk about how testing changes in the AI era, where AI brings real benefits and where risks increase.

AI changes testing, but does not remove the need to understand what is being done. Alongside writing tests, the ability to define what is tested, guide AI and evaluate the outcome becomes ever stronger. AI excels at things that are too slow and difficult for people to do.  “AI is really good when we talk about processing large volumes. Things that have not been possible to do by hand,” says senior consultant Juhani Peltonen from Testimate Oy. Processing data, creating test datasets and finding edge cases succeeds in a way that was previously practically impossible. 👉 Watch recording and learn more about AI hits and misses.

“We are heading into a world where code is produced more and more, and human review does not scale alongside it.” – Kari Hirvi, Rakettitieteen AI Lead

If AI creates both the code and the tests, who finds the bugs? This is one of the key risks in AI-assisted testing.

Agile myths smashed – 3/2026

In March's Rocket webinar agile coach and scrum master Milsa Malin goes through three common agile myths and explains what agility looks like when it is done smartly rather than by the book.

If agility mainly brings to mind ceremonies, a jungle of rules and meetings popping up in the calendar, this webinar is worth watching.

In the webinar, these myths are broken:

1. “Rules must always be followed.”

Milsa aptly compares agility to pirates like this: “More like guidelines than actual rules.” The idea is simple: rules may be broken when there is a good reason and when the change brings real benefit to the team. As an example, dailies are discussed, where too rigid a textbook-style approach can ruin the whole benefit. A small, smart adaptation can save a lot of time and unnecessary meetings.

2. “Agile means following one method.”

Milsa stresses that the best outcome often comes from combining different methods according to the situation. Scrum, Kanban, facilitation methods and other practices are not mutually exclusive religions. The team should build a way of working that actually works, rather than trying to force itself into the mould of one model.

3. “Agile is only suitable for certain kinds of projects.”

Milsa reminds us that you should “steal the best” from agility in a way that suits your own environment. The point is not to copy someone else's model directly, but to find practices that work for your own team. In the same context, there is also discussion about how agile ways of working help in project work, for example in the flow of information, checking direction and keeping documentation sufficiently light but useful.

”Parmesan improves everything, as does agility.” – Milsa Malin, agile coach and scrum master

The webinar will feature practical examples, everyday situations and discussion about how agility works when it is done smartly rather than by the book.
